With that said, Parks Administration wants to reiterate the long standing rules on third party rentals. Someone who owns an RV is not allowed to reserve a campsite in a county park and then resell the reservation to a third party. They are allowed to rent the RV to someone who has a reservation for a campsite at a County park. Reservations made by one person are not permitted to be transferred to another person. Violations of these rules have heavy consequences.<\/li><li><strong>Beginning on March 1, 2022<\/strong>\u00a0the Parks Department\u2019s\u00a0<strong>new Fee Schedule<\/strong>\u00a0will go into effect. Please click on the link to see what\u2019s changing.<\/li><li>For general information about Ventura County\u2019s recreation opportunities, check out\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/venturacountyactiveoutdoors-vcitsgis.hub.arcgis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ventura County Active Outdoors here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Information<\/strong><\/p><p>Certain events held in County parks will require a Use Permit(s) per County of Ventura ordinance.\u00a0 Examples of events that require a Use Permit(s) are:<\/p><ul class=\"arrow-list\"><li><ul class=\"arrow-list\"><li><ul class=\"arrow-list\"><li>Large groups or parties that:<br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>are open to the public, or<br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>will have vendor booths selling goods or services, or<br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>will sell beer, wine, or alcohol, or<br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>will feature amplified sound (DJ or live band), or<br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>will have a Jolly Jumper, clown, etc., or<br role=\"presentation\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\" \/>will be filming inside the park (applies to professional filmmakers and student filmmakers).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>The number of Use Permits required for one event depends on the type of the event.\u00a0 As an example, a private party of 250 people that will have a live DJ, a Margarita stand that sells drinks by the glass and a Jolly Jumper, would require the following Use Permits:<\/p><ul class=\"arrow-list\"><li>An Amplified Sound Permit for the live DJ<\/li><li>An Alcohol Sales Permit to sell Margaritas<\/li><li>A Special Use Permit for the Jolly Jumper<\/li><li>A Alcohol Beverage Control Permit (not issued by the County of Ventura)<\/li><\/ul><p>Self-made day use or picnic areas created at any Ventura County Park is subject to Section II, Subsection H (Special Use Areas) and may incur fees associated with violation of this policy.
