The Oxnard Fire Department has launched the Oxnard EMS Corps<\/a><\/strong>,<\/strong> a 5-month paid training program. It is designed for young adults aged 17 1\/2 to 26 years old who are interested in pursuing careers in Fire, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and healthcare as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). Participants will receive comprehensive EMT training, life coaching, job readiness training, physical fitness, and non-clinical case management. Each student will receive a monthly stipend of $1,500.<\/p>\n

El Departamento de Bomberos de Oxnard ha lanzado Oxnard EMS Corps<\/a><\/strong>,<\/strong> un programa de capacitaci\u00f3n pagado de 5 meses. Est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para adultos j\u00f3venes de 17 1\/2 a 26 a\u00f1os que est\u00e9n interesados \u200b\u200ben seguir carreras de bomberos, servicios m\u00e9dicos de emergencia (EMS) y atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica como t\u00e9cnicos en emergencias m\u00e9dicas (EMT). Los participantes recibir\u00e1n capacitaci\u00f3n integral en EMT, asesoramiento personal, preparaci\u00f3n para el trabajo, aptitud f\u00edsica y gesti\u00f3n de casos no cl\u00ednicos.
