class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a7d82fd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a7d82fd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Supervisor Long has been championing the expansion of the Tattoo Removal Program since the clinics were closed in 2020 due to COVID. Both machines at the old programs in Santa Paula and Oxnard were no longer functioning or usable.<\/p><p>At the July 26, 2022 meeting the Board of Supervisors (BOS) moved unanimously \u201cApprove the Resurrection and Expansion of a Tattoo Removal Program\u201d.\u00a0 Since that time, new machines have been purchased for detention facilities at the Todd Road Jail and Juvenile Facilities.<\/p><p>This program focuses on offering free tattoo removal services for Ventura County residents. It is specifically designed for individuals with tattoos on the face, hands, or arms that are associated with gang activity, human trafficking, or that hinder employment and negatively impact personal well-being. Services are provided by appointment only, with priority given to referrals from our partnering agencies, including Probation, the District Attorney, Public Defender, HSA, and Ventura Training Center.
